Manoah Biesheuvel (1985, Leiden, The Netherlands) graduated in 2007 from the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. His sincere interest in people and their motives, shows in the majority of his work as a filmmaker and photographer. Themes like physical or mental limitation and emotion have always been present in his concepts and work. After a few years teaching arts, he wanted to focus more on creating work of his own. In 2012 he started as an innovator in shortfilms for the electronic music scene, where his work caught the eye of various artists and labels who wanted to work directly with him. This resulted in collaborations with (a.o.) Still for Talent (2015), Oliver Koletzki (Planetarium, 2017), Elekfantz (Work it out, 2018) and Andhim. The Andhim’s West Side Story Tour (2018) was a long term project that evolved into the documentary, Miles To Go.
